創作概念源自坪林消防隊與坪林市民活動中心結合共用的狀態，作品需既有消防意象，並且結合在地文化，因此使用消防管作為創作媒材，從材料本身出發，來代表單位屬性，並依此材料的特性，排列堆疊出坪林的好山好水，利用漸變的線條，構築出山水景象，也隱現著茶園梯田的地貌紋理。

The creative concept derives from the co-space between Pinglin Branch and the Pinglin District office. The project must intertwine elements of firefighting and local culture. Therefore, the artist chose fire pipe as the creative medium. Using the material to represent the nature of firefighting and the characteristic of the material to assemble Pinglin’s mountainous landscape. The shifting line constructs the mountain structure and flow of water. It also implies the landscape texture of tea terraced fields.
