作品以身穿橘黃色校服的孩子為主角，站立於堆疊的書本之上，開心的將書本舉起，象徵以閱讀為基礎，視知識為磐石。舉起展開的書本，從書中飛出的知識之鳥，飛行於天際，象徵孩子透過閱讀，展開想像力的翅膀，透過書本學習、探索這個世界。

 

知識之鳥從門柱、電動門一路延伸至圖書館前樓梯，引領小朋友一步步踏上知識的殿堂，每一個階梯，都寫上孩子們從校園中必須學習到的重要課題：快樂、勇氣、相信、健康、夢想、勤學與愛。

The art work is demonstrated with children as leading characters and all of them are dressed in orange school uniform, standing high on stacks of books while happily holding uprise more. It is a symbolic scene showing that reading is the foundation of education, upon which the construction begins with rocks of knowledge. Meanwhile, the children stand on the rocks while lifting opened books where birds of lore fly out and high to the sky; this act insinuates that the children shall get their wings of imagination throughout reading and eventually l explore the world by reading experience.

 

The birds of lore, standing side by side in line from the pole, extending to the electric doors and all the way to the front stairs of the library. The birds are to guide the children step by step on the great journey to the temple of knowledge. Also, on every staircase is specified an essential element to be learnt at school by the children, including happiness, courage, believe, health, dream, learning and love.
